Summer and camp go together like peanut butter and jelly.

Summer Camp

Activities: Photography

Campers play with pinhole cameras to soak in the basics of the camera.  Developing the photographic paper that rests in the pinhole camera provides lessons in basic darkroom procedures for developing black and white pictures.  Those who get serious about photography also use our 35 mm camera and develop film.  Campers will concentrate on the elements of a good photo: framing, lighting, focus, depth of field.  Campers may also experiment with digital cameras, filmmaking, and scanning photos into the camp newspaper in longer sessions.  Classes are adapted to be age appropriate and safe for the campers involved.
