Located among bounding hills and clear running streams east of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, Camp Windhover offers campers ages 7-14 the rare opportunity to explore both the best of traditional camp experiences and fine and performing arts opportunities.   Our staff nurture campers, encouraging self-esteem, creativity, healthy group interactions, and awareness of God's loving presence.

If you want to ride horses or mountain bikes, "blob," swim, shoot a bow, canoe, or hone your wilderness skills, we may be the camp for you. At the same time, if you want to act; dance; play drums, guitar, piano, or sing by yourself or with a group; work with clay; dabble in watercolor; learn to develop film or just take decent photos; or write a short story, poem, or scene, we may be the camp for you.

Counselors-in-training, ages 15-17, work, play, and receive leadership training (a great college resume builder).   They may work in the kitchen and may assist counselors in teaching activities and in cabin duties.   First year CITs attend camp at a minimal fee, while second and third year CITs are paid a small stipend. The number of CIT positions is limited.
